Several players from Casuals junior rugby sides have been selected for Northampton Saints' youth development teams.
Joey, Harry, James and Dan represented Saints U16 in the Warwickshire tournament recently, taking on sides such as Leicester, Bath and Saracens. - and Joey, Harry and Dan also stepped up for a game against Saracens at the weekend (19 April).
These four players along with Dylan have also been handpicked to join Northampton Saints U17 Academy which is a massive achievement for them personally, and for Casuals as a club.
In the Under 18 Saints setup, Malachy is in the training squad and was part of the team playing Saracens at the StoneX stadium on Sunday (19 April).
These Saints squads are the first step into the club’s Academy pathway, refining individual skills and team development. It’s incredible exposure to high-level game environments and the Saints brand of rugby and a fantastic opportunity for our young players.
Well done to everyone and good luck in the remaining fixtures!
