Mark Hughes was a dedicated and loyal player as a number 8 for our 2nd XV for a number of years before hanging up his boots and taking on a coaching role with our Mini & Junior section. Two of Mark's sons played for the Casuals Mini and Junior section.

We learnt that Mark sadly passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on Tuesday 12 June.

Our thoughts go out to Mark's family and friends at this sad time.

In lieu of flowers we are encouraging donations to the Frank Bruno Foundation there will be a link at the bottom of this post to their website.

We have been so touched by the memories shared on Facebook, there will be a memorial book which we would be delighted if you could share your memories with Mark.

If you are planning to attend and have not let me know please do so as we are trying to confirm numbers. The church will have limited parking spots if you park in the village please be considerate.

We are expecting the service to last 45 minutes guests are then welcome to Northampton Casuals Rugby Club for the wake.
