Matt brings a wealth of coaching experience to his new role, having coached here at the Casuals as a Head Coach of the U18 squad for 3 seasons and is the current Backs and Skills Coach. In addition he works for Northampton Saints in the Rugby Development office and having been a Community Coach before this. Matt holds the England Rugby Advanced Coaching Award.

Matt said ““I coach to make people better and look to create a positive learning environment for all. My core values are hard work, honesty, care and desire. These come across in my coaching. I am looking forward to welcoming everyone back for pre-season and onward into next season”.

During his time in our Mini & Junior section Matt was awarded the Pete Gable Mini & Junior Clubman of the Year, presented by Mrs Ruth Gable. He then went to be presented with the Clubman of the Year award once he was part of the senior section in 2020.

We look forward to Matt getting to grips with the role and seeing the results on the pitch next season.
