The event, which was attended by RFU President Deborah Griffin OBE, recognised the behind-the-scenes champions who have dedicated their time, energy and passion to grassroots rugby over the past 12 months.
Alongside volunteers from across the East Midlands region, five outstanding individuals from Northampton Casuals RFC were recognised for their impact on our club and the rugby community.
Deborah Griffin, self-described as the RFU's "chief volunteer", praised the dedication of those who keep the grassroots game thriving, acknowledging that volunteers are the heartbeat of rugby.
In the Unsung Heroes category Hayden Coates, Kath Middleditch, Brad Terry and Sean Markus were recognised, and Carys Wellicome was nominated in the Game for All category.
A huge congratulations to our five Casuals volunteers - and a big thanks to everyone involved in the club that volunteers their time and effort!
