Seven of Northampton Casuals' players were selected to attend the first ever Northampton and District Alliance women's training camp on 15 February, in a historic occasion for the district as it looks to build its inaugural women's squad.

31 players from teams across the Alliance turned out at Men's Own on a very cold and wet day, bringing huge enthusiasm to a challenging and intense session. Despite the conditions every player demonstrated determination, energy and great attitude. Following the camp, a 23-player squad will now be selected.

Each Casuals player in attendance represented the club brilliantly - well done to Sara Brookes, Sarah Smith, Emily Couchman, Jennah West, Millie Robinson, Kath Middleditch and Kim Todd. You all did yourselves proud.

We are also thrilled that four players have been selected to attend an East Midlands open training session - a fantastic achievement for Millie, Emily, Jennah and Kath!
